Ron Gluckman is an American journalist who has been roaming widely around Asia since 1991. After a decade with daily newspapers in the USA, Ron spent most of the 1990s in Hong Kong, roaming around the region for various Asian and international magazines.
He focused more on China while based in Beijing from 2000-2004. Since the end of 2004, Ron has been based in Bangkok, and since mid-2005, has been dividing his time between Thailand and Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
He has been based again in Beijing beginning in June 2009.
